Our team of clinical experts provides assessment, recommendations and
treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.
Our goal is to break the cycle of addiction and provide support for
necessary changes in behavior and attitude to maintain sobriety.
These goals are accomplished by utilizing a combination of group
psychotherapy and education designed to help clients develop:
- A better understanding of the disease of addiction and the recovery
process
- A positive support network within 12-step and/or other self-help
programs
- Effective coping skills and tools for relapse prevention
The Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program (IOP) is
group orientated and focuses on all aspects of the recovery process.
IOP provides clients an intensive level of care without disrupting employment
or home life. Sessions are available days or evenings, four hours in
length, three times a week. IOP offers:
- Individualized treatment planning
- Relapse prevention planning
- Variable length of stay based on client's individual treatment needs
- Involvement of family or significant other to enhance the recovery
process
- Psychiatric consultation and medication management, as indicated
- Referral to continued outpatient/aftercare treatment or to a higher
level of care when indicated
- Coordination of care with other treatment providers, agencies and
referral sources (ie. courts, DCF, EAP's)
