National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment of up to $250,000 is available for eligible licensed outpatient clinicians working at designated Wheeler locations.

In October 2022, Connecticut's congressional delegation and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Administrator Carole Johnson visited Wheeler's Family Health & Wellness Center in New Britain, which provided the opportunity for officials to meet Wheeler professionals participating in HRSA’s Bureau of Health Workforce National Health Services Corps (NHSC) and Nurse Corps.
