Community Baby Shower on April 25 in Norwich

A Community Baby Shower for expectant families and new parents living in Norwich, New London, Mansfield, Colchester, Killingly, Stonington, and surrounding areas will take place on April 25 from 3 to 6 pm at the UCFS Healthcare Community Room at 47 Town Street in Norwich, Connecticut. The event will include information and resources from a variety of community providers and partners (UCFS, WIC, local Home Visiting Programs, Birth to Three, Thames Valley Council for Community Action, and others) who serve expectant and new parents, as well as giveaways, door prizes, car seat safety clinic, and more. The event is hosted by Wheeler, SEPI-CT, and UCFS Healthcare, and funded by Connecticut Mental Health & Addiction Services.

CT’s Substance Exposed Pregnancy Initiative of Connecticut (SEPI-CT), administered by Wheeler and funded by the Connecticut Mental Health & Addiction Services and Connecticut Department of Children and Families, is available to ensure that Connecticut families have access to the treatment, recovery, and support they need, including prevention of prenatal alcohol exposure.
