Community Baby Shower on November 7 for Expectant Families and New Parents in New Britain

All families living in the Greater New Britain, Greater Hartford, and Greater Manchester towns are invited to attend.


A Community Baby Shower for expectant families and new parents will take place on November 7 from 3 to 6 pm at Human Resources Agency of New Britain, 180 Clinton Street, New Britain. All families living in the Greater New Britain, Greater Hartford, and Greater Manchester towns are invited to attend. The event will include information and resources from a variety of community providers and partners who serve expectant and new parents, as well as giveaways, door prizes, car seat safety clinic, and more. The event is hosted by Wheeler, SEPI-CT, and the Human Resources Agency of New Britain and funded by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).

CT’s Substance Exposed Pregnancy Initiative of Connecticut (SEPI-CT), administered by Wheeler and funded by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Connecticut Department of Children and Families, is available to ensure that Connecticut families have access to the treatment, recovery, and support they need, including prevention of prenatal alcohol exposure.
