Doug has worked at all grade levels, across subject areas, in both general and special education.  As a coach and an administrator, he uses a relational approach and impact coaching strategies to support teachers in improving their skills and classroom performance. As an individual, Doug highly values the potential for all to learn and succeed and this translates into his strong, trusting relationships with students.  Beyond the classroom, Doug spends time outdoors with his dogs, playing volleyball, and traveling.

Morgan Fulks
Director, Education Services, K-8

Morgan oversees the K-8 program at our school. He works with staff and students to support their continued development across all areas. He brings training and experience in trauma-informed care, restorative practices, ABA principles, and data-based professional development to the role.

Morgan’s professional interests focus on helping underserved students grow their unique talents and develop greater levels of independence and confidence. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, cooking and supporting the interests of his two young daughters.

Kyli oversees our school’s therapeutic programming and works closely with clinicians to support therapeutic interventions in the classroom. She serves as admissions coordinator and receives and reviews incoming student referrals. She also facilitates tours for potential students and completes initial intake interviews.

Kyli’s professional interests include staying current with trends in therapy and social emotional education. Her personal passions include her three dogs, family, painting and crafting.

Jennifer creates and oversees class schedules for NVS high school students and is the point person for related student inquiries and concerns. Jennifer also supports the K-8 classrooms to ensure seamless delivery of teaching and instruction. She is the state testing coordinator and helps with school-wide assessment. She also oversees the TEAM program for beginning teachers. 

On a personal note, Jennifer enjoys supporting her two daughters' high school activities and often volunteers to help with marching band and theater programs.

Pam supervises the NVS clinical team, providing direct individual counseling services to students, facilitating school-based therapy groups, and providing support for students. She also assists with the completion of intakes and school tours for potential new students. 

Pam’s professional interests include social emotional learning and incorporating new strategies in the classroom and school setting. Outside of work, Pam likes to spend time with family, reading, and the outdoors.

Anne is dedicated to fostering an environment of accessible learning. She modifies the curriculum so that all students can access it. She collaborates with educators and psychotherapists. She engages students in projects that build self-esteem and involve their families, using tools such as flashcards, pipe chimes, dioramas, and more. She employs musical instruments to develop early literacy skills and teamwork, as well as language skills so that students can tell their own narrative; confidently participate in job interviews, and share ideas as independently as possible, and more.

Anne is deeply interested in the underserved young adult population, ages 21 to 30, including their need for spaces and activities that provide nurturing social outlets, inclusive employment, and healthy living and fitness.

Emmalitza works in tandem with staff, students, and families to address day-to-day issues and concerns and foster an environment where students can be successful.  

Emmalitza's ultimate passion is helping others. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and hosting family dinners, as well as spending time with her family in the sunshine!

Monique is an essential part of the team’s day-to-day operations. She manages school attendance and billing, student contact updates, an array of reports, as well as purchasing and distribution of school supplies, filing, and so much more.

Heather is one of the first points of contact for students, families, and visitors to our school. Her duties include answering phones, filing, scheduling PPTs with parents and school districts, and more. She also assists with bus duty in the morning and afternoon. 

Heather loves reading and is a big sports fan. The Raiders, Lakers and Yankees are her favorite teams. She loves the beach and being an auntie to several wonderful children.
